Getting closer with my 360 swap into my 318 1970 Belvedere (w/904 transmission). Haven't pulled the 318 yet but I'm noticing the 318s oil pan is lower in the front while the 1978 360 has a large sump at the rear. There's no way it's gonna clear the steering linkage. Is this normal and can someone send me a link to the replacement pan and oil pump/pickup tube I'll need?

After thinking about it, should I just use the 318s pan, oil pump, and pickup tube? I assume it will swap?

Nope, different.

You need a 360 car pan.

did you ever found the part @Sonny i have the same problem with my Plymouth

That oil pan along with the motor mounts are for trucks. You need a 71 and up 360 center sump car pan. Can be a little tough to find.
360 had a larger rear main that 318/340 thus a different pan.
Can use your 318 pickup tube with the 360 pan.

Yes. I found a new reproduction one on eBay or online. Think it came from California. Fit great.
