hello im planning on putting a 484 lift 284 duration cam and run 3.90 gears what stall converter should I use

At least 2500 but a bit more is even better. Depends on what all you plan on doing with the car and what the rest of the combo is. Kinda hard to recommend parts when very little info is furnished....

Street car mostly but occasional drag trying to get at least 13's

I would contact a converter company (Dynamic, Hughes, ATI are just a few) , there is alot of information that is needed to get the right converter for your car.

I got my converter from these guys. Asked me a lot of question re build and what I wanted to do with car. I believe sold me correct converter. I'd use again in heartbeat.

Maybe add a trans cooler with a loose converter?
