Painted. Got the vent bolt figured out. Going to take .2 off the diameter of the brake rotors for a little more clearance. Hope to assemble soon.

So got my rotors diameter turned down .120. while doing so I noticed the webbing was out of round. Do I need to true them up? Or is my OCD showing? I'm concerned about a vibration.

No. Leave them alone.

Well hopefully the Dana is back in for the last time. Time to finish up brake lines, line lock, and measure for driveshaft.

To be honest I don't know.
Axle back in, brake lines almost done. Just need to plumb line lock

So full steam ahead! So I was missing the bracket that holds the soft line to the axle splitter block. So had my friend Dan plasma out a couple brackets ( Incase I get the first one wrong).

Ordered axle bumpers from Mega Parts. Ordered the shorter ones because of lower stance. I have 3.5-4" between the axle and bumper, I hope that's enough.

Tomorrow I pick up the driveshaft. Hope to get it installed, lube in axle, trans, & gear vendor. Bleed brakes and finish up brake line brackets.

On their web site it lists 2. Looking at the pictures this one looked shorter

Good day today.
Soft brake line bracket mounted.
Gear lube in Dana.
Gear lube in gear vender.
ATF in trans.
Exhaust positioned
Shocks measured, need to lower the bottom mount 1".

I measured shock travel at rest and I have 3/4" less than axle travel. So I will fab a bracket. I don't want my Viking shocks blown out.

So I made a couple brackets to lower the shock 1.4". To get it in the middle of it's stroke. These are just temporary to see if it's where I want it. With lowering & moving the springs in it kinda changed things. I also honored the AFX drag racers, I moved the axle forward a 1/2 inch.
