Is the difference between a 383 and a 440 air grabber just in the bottom piece?
This wouldn't (nor the '69 you have) work on my 440?

It would if you cut the horn down where it fits over the carb. I am assuming you have the Air Grabber set up on your car. Also if you have a higher than stock intake it will throw off your height dimension. The only reason I am saying this because you were asking about the 69 air cleaner.
