You can strip them with anything. The problem is what do you clean them with. No problem blasting if the bottoms are tapped off. Other wise NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, did I say NO. No better cleaner than hot engine oil. As far as sand blasting for a nice finish? not an issue. Bondo? I do it all the time, some parts 20 years old nad still look great. One of my Bondoed motors. Find the words "Indy" on the heads or intake? Look at how smooth the parts are.
