I have seen some pretty beat up stuff get saved. I have fixed a few pieces of my own that weren't too bad and then buffed them back up to a great shine, but I am not skilled enough to really work bad dents or kinks out.

Based on the pictures, I would say you can save it as there is no hole in it.
