Hi All, -- Had a few mopars "back in the day" early to mid 60`s
Had a 64 Valiant Convertible back in 1965, then got a 65 Plymouth Fury in 1966
which I drove all over the country back then,--put 80K in 2 years on that car,
which had a 318 engine.
Then sold it and picked up a 64 Dodge Dart (used) convertible in 1968,
for 800 bucks and drove it from Vt to Colorado(slant 6) with 80K on it,
and it burned only 1 quart of oil enroute to Colorado.--Tough little car.
I then got married in 71 and went to GM, in the 70`s and 80`s, but never
forgot my "roots", with mopars back in the 60`s.
Picked up a real clean 1967 2dr hardtop Coronet with only 65K on it about
a year and a half ago.--318 automatic, car is from state of Georgia.
Engine "purrs" like a kitten and the car is a real "looker".
She is a "blast to the past",--am in process of obtaining disc brakes for the
front,--and would like to replace the bench seats with bucket seats.
Hoping to have her ready for a mid summer extended road trip.
P.S., I do have a picture in my photo album from last fall at the NSRA
(North East street rod show ) back last Sept. here in Vt. Over 1600
classics from all over the country.
