Looking for suggestions on a proportioning valve to use with my 4 wheel wilwood disc brakes. Is there a stock type. I have a stock non power-master cylinder. Will a normal 4 wheel drum brake valve work? What have you used? were you happy with it?

Try Right Stuff, Dr. Diff, Inline Tube, Stainless Steel Brake Co., Wilwood, Baer Brakes etc.
all have some form of brake distribution valve,
I personally like having a proportioning valve so you can adjust
how much pressure goes to the back brakes, especially for aftermarket stuff that is miss matched in sizes etc.

any of the list above has them

you can get a valve/distribution block with an adj. prop valve in it too...
Mainly for Ease/simplicity of plumbing...

I spoke to wilwood just now and am in the process of ordering the black valve you pictured. I agree with you about having the possibility to adjust the proportioning from front to rear. I had hoped to use the stock type master cylinder but it would seem this isn't recommended due to a constant pressure kept on the drums.

I have used the Willwood on a few street rod projects. It's a great part and easy to install.. When installed test at slower speeds and work up to a panic apply. Dave
