Thanks for the info. Good to know these things.

Only buy namebrand foods made in USA.
It should not even be legal to import food (pet or people) from China, which is usually the problem.

I recently got tired of lugging big bags of it around the grocery store, and in and out of the car, so we have it delivered by UPS now. Easier.

I only use Orijen.....the Canadian plant moved to Kentucky. It is the #1 dog food on the market.....compare ingredients that tells all.....

If we eat junk foods all day, what happens? Animals are no different....cheap insurance

Wow, its amazing how many of the so called high end grain free foods are on this list. Luckily what I feed my dogs is not on here. I lost a 3 yr old lab/pointer mix to some tainted food yrs ago and now I read the labels more thoroughly to ensure US sourced ingredients and check the protein to filler ratios. I switched my dogs to Supreme Source grain free a couple of yrs ago and they have much more energy and cleaner coats now that they are not getting filled up with grain better suited for making alcohol than pet food.

I'd quit using Diamond.
They had an E-Coli issue a few years ago that killed several family dogs.

My ex father in law had a Labradoodle and fed it Ol Roy from Wally's. That dog ate it like there was no tomorrow...and you know what the result was...and the dog always looked bad. Changed the food and he ate less and looked much better.

Exactly what I was going to post.
I worked for Petco as a dog trainer for about 4 years. I completed a 6 week program on Pet Nutrition and was a certified "Pet Nutrition Specialist"
I took what I learned and then did my own in-depth research for months on dog food nutrition to really dig deep. The knowledge I accumulated and shared literally changed some dogs and their "pet parents" lives for the better! No more chewing of paws, dander, less shedding, even got some dogs off of shots they were getting every 2 weeks. Very satisfying for me to have helped.
Any dog food with ground corn or corn meal as one of the first 3 ingredients winds up in big piles in the yard. Dries their skin out. Feeding high quality food means less waste, and although it costs more per pound, you can feed less so that helps offset the cost.
When you have 3 dogs from 60-90 pounds, less shedding and sh*tting are BOTH good things!

I adopted her in May, she is fitting in great, which is somewhat odd for a Chesapeake BR. She came from a World known CBR Kennel. She became infertile and was no good to them, that is when I stepped in! Their loss or not caring and my gain! Beautiful Dog! She is turning into quite a ham too!
