I'm sure this has been covered over and over. What finish was used on the cover ,strap and bolt on 67 master cylinders ? I've lost all my references for finishes used on fasteners and other parts. I've upgraded the original single pot on my 66 Coronet Thanks

From my unrestored 67 GTX. Lower left corner of picture.

Thanks. The bolt and strap look to have been natural. Can you tell if the lid was natural or yellow zinc dichromate?. Maybe even silver zinc ? I wish I still had my 67 GTX. It was bronze with a black vinyl roof.

Lid is yellow zinc dichromate
Strap is natural steel.
Bolt is black phosphate
