Hello gang!
Check out Jimi AKA "Bladecutter" with Brittany, the HOT Blonde and Rosalind from Merced CA!
(I wanted to take Rosalind to Vegas today but se quietly declined)
Well, it was another GREAT day recognizing the famous hot rod custom car builder Mr. Gene Winfield here in Mojave CA Saturday 14 October 2017
A lot of "fun in the sun" so to speak.
Gene looked well, after all he is 90!
He just arrived back "home" from a engagement in Norway AND Alaska!
Along with Gene we also had a wonderful visit with none other than one of our most remembered and dear forum members: Bladecutter!
Aka Jimi!
Jimi presented me with a wonderfull piece of ART, a Blade polished, machined and painted on a precision stand and he is dedicating this magnificent work of ART to the F-22 CTF (Combined Test Force) Flight Test Team here at Edwards AFB, Edwards CA.
Let me tell you, as will our esteemed Forum member "Dennis H"!
THIS "Blade" belongs in a museum!
Pics to come in another thread.
Now for some cars and chic!
Ah, yes, wonderful Brittany the Blonde gorgeous your gal and Ms. Rosalind, whose Dad, Dave Minero from Merced her Dad who's owns the Willys and Austin Race cars powered by Heimis!
The Willys is a NASCAR 1964 early 426 semi and the Austin is powered by a after market All Aluminum semi!
PS: Gene painted the Willys "way back" in the early/mid 60s

This lil "Steel back/fiberglass front end Willys" has the EARLY 1964 Hemi "NASCAR" engine.
He had Gene Winfield paint it way back in the mid 60s
The color is a caterpillar Yellow because "Gary Reinero" the owner has a excavating business, has had it since the early 60s
He owns CAT D7s and D9s
He was once hired to tow a B-52 out of the fields that went off the runway at Castle AFB, where I was stationed in 1980!
He is a very successful business man.
Check out that Hillborn Injection

More pics:
1. this Chick was so DAMN Hot, I tried to get more pics of her BUT she was "on to me" later on....
I didn't want her thinking I was Stalking her!
(I was tee-hee-hee)

Wednesday my Bud and myself stopped at Gene Winfield's in Mojave CA (25 miles from my home)
We met gene, he's like 93 now.
He recently came back from Netherlands or Norway?
He fell, months back, broke a Hip...
He's up and about, walking with crutches...
Looks good, he did remember me from 2016/2017

Well:
Here are 2 cars I found fascinating at his shop.
The FIRST: The Movie Car from the Original ROBO COP movie, where the terrorist kidnaps people, demands millions of dollars and wants the "Brand New" car, a "SUX 6000"

The second car that was impressive, recently painted by Gene himself...his paint jobs go for BIG BUCKS:
His Marquee car: The 1948 Mercury's. (he owns the rights to the Fiberglass Mold)

Cool stuff Ski
he chops (lowers the roof) more cars in a year
than most custom shops, would ever do in a lifetime
(IIRC He said; he did 12 chops, just last year on Vegas Ratrods)

he's an Icon for sure
far better than Barris IMO
he was the fade guy, lower darker to lighter on top
he was doing the lowered cars & lead-sleds 'for ever seemingly'
he's been a builder/customizer as long as I can remember
longer than I've been alive, he been published multiple times
in most all of the car rags too...

thanks for sharing

That big thing next too,
I just saw that, it was in a old 70's movie with
George Perpard & Jan Micheal Vincent
about the earth after a global nuclear war
they were traveling across the country to get to a safe place
with other people

a couple nights ago

I don't remember the name of
I couldn't sleep

Struggling to walk, but he is still with us Budnicks...
He is an ICON
Perhaps will not be on this earth much longer....
God Bless him
