Went up to Cheyenne Wyoming today to see FIFI the B-29, I have seen the B-17, B-24, B-25, but wow, what an impressive aircraft!!!

That B-29 is an AWESOME airplane. I support the Commemorative Air force and the send me a lot of good stuff. I have never seen this plane up close but I sure would like to someday.

That is correct, and from what one of the guys told me, it was changed because they had someone that wanted to make a big donation to them with the stipulation that they change the name. Also, another interesting thing is the B-29 brings in $600K in revenue each year, but it costs over $1 million to maintain and fly each year, so their other squadrons help off set that with the many other planes they fly.

I saw her in Toledo a dozen years ago. What was great about it, I witness several "touch and goes," as an FAA rep was observing a pilot for qualifying him to fly B29's. He was full time airline pilot. I guess this is common, for these aircraft, to be flown by a group of pilots, to get them from one air show to another. With out tying up one single pilot, going from one show to another.
