Looking for DIY Plans on Building Christmas Tree Starting Lights

I am wanting to build a starting light christmas tree for my garage. Can anyone direct me to a set of plans for building one, or to someone who has actually built a tree that i could talk with. This is just for display, not going to be used for racing.
