Removed the top trim for a cleaner look.
Welded the quarters front to back working in small sections, and welded all the holes in the doors and fenders. Very happy with the result.

Mike it is looking real good keep up the good work.

mlktst your car and mine look a bunch alike. If I put my blue hood back on they might be twins to a color blind old man like me.

I am doing the same with my Charger, my trim was in pretty bad shape to begin with and I wanted a cleaner look overall. Yours turned out great!

Someone pointed out the rear bumper looks weird now because the bumper is cut to match the trim. Now every time I walk by it drives me nuts. I might pull the bumper and build up that missing corner with weld.

Can you please show what you are talking about? I am also doing this.

Mike after I read your post I ran outside to look at the cutout. Haha I never noticed it untill YOU pointed it out. All body work was done on my 67 when I bought it Therefore I will never miss what I never had. Your car looks great quit starring at it and you will not see it :)
