My Christmas gift wouldn't fit down the chimney

A sawsall made short work of removing the old headers and the rest of the crappy exhaust system. Many of the header bolts were leaking coolant as we're the 52 year old hoses. I pulled the radiator and sent it out to be flushed and pressure checked and while there's room, it's time for some cleaning.

I put my spare set of Magnum wheels & redlines on for the time being. I'm seriously considering getting a set of Torque Thrusts for a nice vintage look.

I continue to be amazed at the originality of your car. What are you going to do with the orig. hoses?
 
And we get all bent out of shape if something is off 1/4". They really didn't care that much back then, did they?

On another note Mark. It looks like the hood catch on the bottom side of the hood is natural, not painted? I always thought that part was painted with the hood.
