Here's a PowerPoint presentation I was able to put together on video about 5 years ago. I only found it again last night and uploaded to my channel.
I shared with a few friends last night....it met with critical acclaim.... .... I hope you enjoy my trip down the '80's.....

BTW - the music/song is "Driven by you" by Brian May of Queen. I have wanted to do something like this since that song was first released in 1991 when I was living in London. The song was originally released with a video celebrating the Ford workers and the Escort RS Cosworth as well as World Rally Championship footage of the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth Rally Car.
Brian generously allows this song to be used on YouTube without penalty.

Who is that svelte individual in the video??

It's like wanting to see your ex wife naked, you know that you shouldn't, but you still do! You know that the biach is crazy, but you can't help wanting her again, even knowing all to well what it will cost you!

I can't relate to that.
At all.

Nice Roger! (22 previous owners!) Wow, that has to be some kind of a record! I just couldn't let a car like that go that easily!

The "svelte looking" guy is Ray - he was the painter in the day.....not his real trade - self-taught much like myself. The other full-figured guy in grey overalls ad also performing the 'elephant walk' at the end is Kevin - lived around the corner from me - fellow electrician and mentor to me as a youngster. Kev's about to close in on 70 soon......he let me use his workshop for storage and stripping the car. He had at least 20 cars himself in various states....always a good time working with him on the old stuff.
Kevin had a great licence plate on his work van... 'RUMBO' .... we used to put a lot of rum away back in the day. Dark Jamaican Rum :drinks:

The stories that drink could tell....

I calculate that it would be more like 29 about now. It has been off the road for a while but still shows on the local register.

I was talking about Cliffy :rofl:
I've only known Cliff since 2010. The day that Red Wagon landed was a fateful day indeed.

That '82 Dodge in front was in the same box as mine from USA...pure chance. I met Cliff only days after that.....he helped me get it started.

The two Dodges lived together for a while.

I need to give my 78 Dodge truck some attention. After seeing that picture, I miss driving it.
