Offside door mirror tips?

Any tips for installing this baby today guys? Not rocket science I know, just nervous about drilling into my perfect passenger door.

Scrap that I just thought more about drilling into my perfect door and my 5 year old also just said 'why not turn your head?' So I'll leave it stock until I have a near miss then change my mind again

Yeah....don't do it unless you absolutely have to by Law. I have one for my car, but have so far resisted the temptation for 20 years now.

I rely on the stick on convex spot mirrors in all of my daily drivers. I have considered putting on a passenger side mirror and sticking a spot mirror on it.

I did one.... Measured the driver's location, not thinking about what might be in the way. The vent wing post is right in the middle of the mirror. Will see what I can change at a later date. No sense getting wound up over a mistake, when you can approach it with a clear head latter.
