never did the pin caliper ever.have a new pc now so i have not got to up loading the manual.so what involved in pulling it a part to change pads.newbie HERE.71 SAT 318 CAR.383 IN 2 YEARS.
Very easy. Loosen the pins, slide off caliper, squeeze piston with a hardware store c-clamp, put in pads, bolt back up pins, done. I suggest you put a little caliper grease on the pins & along the corners of the pad backing + maybe some caliper adhesive behind the pads.
sounds very easy,I plan on the front end rebuild in mid January,so just getting my ducks in order,did some searching on line and cant find step by step pics,but did find out pin pads are more than slider pads.thanks for the help.
