Has anyone ever changed the color of their headliner in an old Charger. These have the pressboard headliner not the cloth kind.
Can they be painted or dyed?
Thanks

I've done both cardboard A bodies and the cloth faced B body.
With dye.
I would only suggest that mine were not real color changes.
Same color family.

Thanks. What dye did you use?
I need to go from blue to red.
Might be better off just dying it black

I used this on the cloth B body Charger.
It says it actually and "elastomeric coating".
Blue over blue.

On the cardboard A bodies I got whatever "dye" was on the shelf at Pep Boys.
I think it is Duplicolor.
I'll check my left over and correct that if necessary.
I used this for black over dark green.
And tan over tan.

+1 on SEM brand products. I have ised them for light blue over navy and black over blue. I found several light coats were the key to good outcomes.
