The Friday cruise:
Roy brings a Valiant out every Spring… either the 75, white with red interior or his 64, red with white interior.

Five Superbirds, one Daytona and a 69 Charger 500 on the cruise.

There was 4, maybe 5 wing cars on the Malibu cruise. And it was a great time. Dukes for lunch was awesome.

Funny story about this Plymouth…

“Sadie “ belongs to Diane, a really nice lady that helps out the CPW club. 1969 Sport Satellite.

About 15 years ago, maybe more, I saw the car at the San Joaquin valley Mopars show and…. Thinking I knew everything… I said “ Oh, you put GTX taillights in the car”.
She said No, they also came in Sport Satellites. I disagreed.
Later I found that I was wrong and apologized to her the next time I saw her.

I’ve seen these 1969 Charger 500s before but never noticed this:

Look to the outside of the headlight bezel.

Those little plastic filler pieces. Are they OEM ? I don’t recall seeing them before.

IIRC, One of the hardest parts to find for a “500”

Wish I could be there tomorrow. Flight home has had delays. Was supposed to be home by 9pm. Due to delay, missed connection in Dallas, therefore I'm camped overnight in Tx. The closest I could get to home and not get into next week with touring the country was a flight into Santa Barbara. Be there noonish Saturday. Oh well. At least there were no in flight mishaps.
