On another thread I asked about steering column interchangeability. I am converting my 65 b-body to power steering. I have had several people contact Me on this site and a couple others. Many of them want to know what the length of the shaft is that I need. They have several and will look to see if they have one. Also the ones they have may be from a different year. I do not know what the length should be, nor do I know what length is on My car presently. The car is stored for the winter at this time.
Does any one know what the length should be for a 1965 b-body with power steering?
Does any one know what years are acceptable and what years to avoid?
I am not opposed to modifying the one in the car, but I would rather locate a donor.
