The Golden Rotisserie Chicken

Hey Guys, I am entertaining the idea of selling the 68 Chicken. Been done now for almost a year now and I've had plenty of fun with it. Car has already won lots of awards including the Nats. I need to free up some more room and $$ for two other Mopar projects I now own. If there is any interest out there at all , or if you know someone else that might be interested, please PM me.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!

What are you going to be working on besides the 68 GTS chicken? I love those 68 Darts btw

Just acquired a 70 Cuda 383 4spd numbers car. Car is Blue on Blue. One owner car disassembled, but complete.Has new quarters installed. I also own a 60 Corvette Fulie car. I just dont have the room for all these cars. Nice problem, I know, but one has got to go.

Couldn't it be one of these instead :)

Seriously I'm sure your minds fairly made up on which one it will be so best luck to you. It's an awesome example of a premium 68 RR with documentation, excellent restoration thread and proven show winner. Best wishes
I'll follow your Cuda and GTS restorations.

Update!! I bought the Cuda for 10k. Will get it here in a few weeks after I make room for it. Am selling my #1 restored numbers 68 Road Runner I restored recently. Please let me know if there is any interest in it. The fender tag on the Cuda has a code I can't find. I hope someone here will help. It is M89 ??. Here is the complete tag. Someone go ahead and decode it for fun and post it here.

I couldn't find M89 either. Is it definitely a M89 or could it be M88?

That 68 is a beauty Mitch, I would love to own that and telling Sue, shes hide our deed! I wish you luck on the sale and the Cuda!

Well now, lets not go getting all ahead of ourselves! If you want another restoration project, I'll let you work on mine for free!!!

Seriously though,,,, That's got to be a hard decision!

I think you should sell raffle tickets to members only & hold a drawing. How bout it?

I had seriously thought about doing something like that when I wanted to sell one of my other cars. It wouldn't be hard to figure the money you had invested and how many members it would take to reach that for the price of the raffle ticket.

Possible Fender Tag Option ????

Not yet. I'll see the tag again later this week. It is possible I jotted it down wrong! DUH !! I'll post what I find.

I went on line and found a list of all of the build sheet codes for our cars. Most of the time the build sheet numbers correspond with the fender tag numbers.

An example of this:

N96 on the fender tag it means air grabber hood, while on the build sheet it means fresh air hood.

So with that in mind here is the entire list of M codes from a build sheet for cars built between 1969 and 1971.

It says here that M88 is "Deck lid Moldings Treatment".

I'm going to take a SWAG and say your code is probably in reference to quarter panel and trunk lid chrome trim.

Love the Cuda's I've owned 3 different ones throughout the years. I wish I still owned my Gran Coupe.

Your attention to detail is OUTSTANDING to say the least. Great thread here. Thanks for the excellent postings.

Hope this little bit of information helps and is accurate.

It could also be M83 which would indicate your car has rear bumper guards. After 40 plus years the fender tags are sometimes hard to read. (even after a good cleaning)
