Just amazes me how much stuff is out there still and yet to be found......

Fantastic collection....

Nice post flypaper! I owned a 48 Chief that I dummied onto about 20 years back but later sold it to a guy that professionally rebuilds them. Hated to let it go but I just didn't have the time but I still have my 47 74" Knucklehead FL and a 60 FLH. They are still out there hiding but it's getting tough to find them.

I drove to the Maryland coast about 12 or so years ago?
to a guy to pick up a few mopar hoods and he had 2 late 40's chiefs
among a bunch of mopar stuff stashed in his garages
one chief was completely mint original with leather saddle bags
it was probably one of the nicest original ones left on the planet
jaw dropping was the only way to describe it.
the detail they put into them is amazing for the time.
I always had an eye for them after that.

I bought a unique scoot from a guy that had a 4 cylinder Henderson that he restored in the 70's
