What kind of alternators? Are you picking up to sell or for yourself?

Take everything and sort it out later at home.
I used to get calls frequently to just come haul it all away.
Sometimes it is trash, sometimes there are some good things in the mix. I've given away a lot of things that I picked up from parts stashes like that. I like knowing that I helped people with their projects.

When I aquire these. They will be distributed through FBBO. All the alternators are 60 mopar items. Actually everything he aquired was all Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler. Theres alot of items. His lady friend that got his estate wants the stuff gone. So Im in talks to get all of it. I have what I need for my 3 cars. I dont want to see this stuff tossed. Its better to divy it out to the folks that are in need of certain parts.

I'd love to get a call like that. I have had people come up to me at car shows asking if I want to buy their parts. That has worked out very well.

I bet theres some goodies in there. take the stuff home.

Looks like you get these for free or next to nothing?
I would pick them up, keep what i want/need and sell everything else. :)

Hey Slim, if there’s some stuff (or a load or two) there you don’t want let me know I’d probably take a load and do what kern suggested . Shoot me a pm if this interests you. I have a truck and am fairly flexible as far as availability goes.

I got that same call too…..”I just want to clean out what my dad left behind”. So I’m helping him drag out all the cars, and I bought all of the Barracudas

Yeah, that's a awfully large retainer hole.

What you do also depends on what you have for storage space. If you'd have to rent a storage locker then you should just cherry pick but if you have a warehouse, take it all.

It will take a few days to gather the items up. He was pretty thorough on what he aquired over the years. He was 75 when he passed. So he knew what to obtain. Im getting this stuff reasonably cheap. So Ill get pictures posted when this is all at my house. I dont need any of it. But if it helps you folks. To get proper part numbered parts for your cars. Theyll be here. Ill keep you all posted.
