Upper control arms adjuster washer pocket

While taking my upper control arm I found the bolts were so tight I had to use a 4 foot cheater to get them off. In the process the adjustment pockets were galled. I think I can clean them up with my Dremel tool and put some paint to preserve it any comments?

Put a cam in the pocket and determine that it will be contained in the pocket. If necessary, the pocket rim may have to be reshaped. A hammer with chisel and/or punch should do the job.
