How the hell did I miss that ?!?! Sometimes I slide into an alternate universe. Thank you very much ! That car is awesome.
Many thanks, I ordered a copy, should be a good read. This book is both interesting and informative. Used copies in very good condition are available through eBay and Amazon.

My 78 Monaco had stuff under the back seat, and also some goodies under the carpet itself. Some extra bolts and doo dads, but I found the computer "punch card" as well under there.Have you located the Broadcast Sheet @Fury 440 ?
- R - Belvedere, Satellite, Fury (1976-78)
- L - Low
- 41 - Four-door sedan
- U - (1970-1978) 440 V8, high performance, including police
- 8 - 1978
- A - Assembly plant Lynch Road
Try looking under the rear seat cushion between the seat springs and seat foam. There are a bunch more codes on the Broadcast Sheet than on the fender tag.
