To everyone suffering or that has lost someone to Covid, my prayers go out to you
My best wishes for her. It's a personal decision that must be respected. But, I'll be glad to see you post a note here soon that she's fully recovered and well !!My daughter is struggling with Covid. Been sick for a couple weeks now. And will be missing holiday celebrations. She is the only family member not vaccinated. For the whimpist reason of them all? Fear of needles. Even as an asthma suffer. I believe she may be past the worse. But we are still keeping a close eye on her condition. She has elected not to seek medical attention. Due to again, fear of needles. I just pray the illness doesn't make the choice for her?
I know we have thrown around the word "Snowflake?" But when it comes to biology? We are all "Snowflakes." Very unique. With very different responses to our surroundings. What is no danger, or even good for you? May kill the person next to you. Or vice-versa.
Wait, you're taking corona to work?
It kinda goes everywhere with me.
It’s not going to be a very productive day, but it’s kinda nice to be out of the house.
And yet your still out spreading it. You feel sorry enough for yourself to start a thread on getting it but even after hearing about others love ones dying from it and wishing you well ,your'e out in public with it, wtf?.I hope she gets better real soon. I thought I had it pretty bad until I started hearing other peoples stories. Really puts things into perspective.

On my way to work this morning I stopped for gas. When I got outside my truck I smelled something awful, similar to burnt hair. I then drove another 30 miles to work and when I got out of my truck I smelled it again. I’ve been in and out of a few different machines and when I’m inside I don’t smell it but outside in the fresh air it’s very strong. This is not good because I work outside and it is a horrible smell.
WhateverI don’t feel sorry for myself at all. Just started this thread because I was laying around doing nothing else, just thought I’d start the conversation. And I’m glad I did, really learning a lot from others.
And who am I spreading it to? I work alone on the roof of an empty building.
There were times when I went to work sick too or just getting over something but I also worked alone back then. There were times when someone would come up close to talk about something or another and I'd warn them before they got too close. Some didn't care and some would stay back. What I didn't like were the ones that didn't care if they were sick and would come to work and wouldn't say anything to anyone. That happened a lot at the plant I hired into many years later.Whatever
Your'e right Cranky I was in a way brushing his response off because it was b.s. and i didn't feel like wasting more of my time on this guy. If someone goes out into public ( even a gas station) with a cold or something minor that stuff happens, hell, we have all certainly done it. Go out into public with the flu and that's bullshit. Go out knowing you have Corona and stopping at places, handling the pump, probably talking to someone is completely saying "Screw everybody" because i don't really feel that bad so you wouldn't either ( may not be the case as we all know). I had the **** twice, stayed home twice, i'm not special, that's what your supposed to do and yeah it sucked. Two years into this and this guy doesn't know to stay home when you got corona, that's kind of unbelievable. If he can't figure that out then nothing i say to him is gonna make him understand so that's where the "whatever" came from. There were times when I went to work sick too or just getting over something but I also worked alone back then. They had an awards program for making a year for not being off sick....ie perfect attendance and that brought in all kinds of sicko's like that. It's one of the reasons I opted to work the off shift as much as possible since there was a minimum size crew working. Your 'whatever' reply reminds me of my kids saying that word whenever I tried to explain something to one of them. Imo, it's just another word to brush off someone....
