Yummy
A C-47
Or DC-3. Is it single row 9 or double rows of 7? On Douglas topic.....I finally got my own copy of the letter my Dad received from Douglas when They presented Him with the First set of Wings They issued to a Test Pilot. Faded from time, but is legible under zoom.

Could be a DC-3
(I think I originally asked that but no definite conclusion except Jimi)
C-46 had "round" windows
I'd bet a DC-3
C-46 is a Curtiss. C-47 & DC-3 were very close to the same A/C, one of the significant differences being the C-47 had double doors & the DC-3's usually had airstair doors. Probably a lot of the Birds that got converted to executive a/c in fifties, sixties were C-47's, Like Twin Beech 18's, which in Military were C-45's. Both A/C types have also seen their share of hauling weed:)

Just going by numbers, the odds usually favor C-47. Out of over 10,000 air-frames built plus over 5,000 more made under license in other countries only 607 of them were the actual civil DC-3 version. This one (the McDonald's shown is in New Zealand) was built in 1943 so it's a C-47. Also, it has no seatbelts. :)
