Yes 275/60 was my plan on the rear. It’s not a problem finding 15X8 rims, I just want to be sure my poverty cal will fit the rim. I called wheel vintiques yesterday & they do not have anything my cap will fit.

I’m looking for steel rims that I can paint original “Matador Red PP1” & where to buy them for a 68 RR stock width 8 3/4” sure grip. Wanting 15”X 8 that I can run my original dog dish caps on, inside cap measures about 8 5/8” . Is 4.5” back spacing what I need for maximum tire width clearance ?

I am from western WV (KY, OH,WV) area. I recently purchased a 68 Road Runner hardtop project from SC area. Fender tag & Vin still intact, (383 HP, 4 speed, missing) 3.55 sure grip still attached, matador red original color, red interior, 26" radiator. My plan for it is keeping it mostly original...
