so, in 2002 i hit a moment of mental duress, and sold my first car...U code 70 Cuda...ah...well i can at least say i had that as a first car!.
we spent 16 yrs together...i vividly remember the night before i sold the car...telling myself that id prolly never be able to afford a car of that caliber ever again...and well i pretty much nailed that one right on the head.
but a funny think happened to me last May, long story short, i ended up with the very first 440, and performance engine i ever build way back when i was 20, in the early 1990s!
I thought cool, ill just build this 440 again and God willing some POS will come along, and ill stuff that turd between the frame rails, and let her rip!
little did i know, the car i would end up with would be this cool!
1965 Coronet post sedan!!
I started a new job last year, and befriended a co worked that just so happened to have the same mopar blood in his veins as me!
he recently decided to introduce his young son to Motocross, and decided to give me a crack and restoring this girl!
i decided to bail out of another "import" car project and was able to come up with 15K so far to get the show on the road, im so stoked right now!
got the ole 7.2 on the egnine stand tonight! gotta start deburring the block.
having built a 500 stroker on my last Cuda build, and knowing first hand how brutal they can be, ive decided to keep this with a stock stroke, and make the big power in the heads only.
here goes nothing!
added a couple of pix of my stroker at the bottom!
