Hey everyone, I wasn’t exactly sure where to post this. I did put a post on trucks only website. I’m basically going to be looking at this what I think is a 76-77 . He’s asking $2000. Everything looks solid. Little bit of rust on the lower front and back of each door. Looks like the hump has been cut to put in a three speed. Engine looks like a 318 rebuilt.

I paid 700 for a 3/4 ton, camper special. 1970 with a 440 (not factory). This was 3 years ago. To me this truck looks like a mid 70’s early 80’s style.

What would your plans for the truck be? I think he’s high at 2k. But maybe not for your area.

Looking at the pics I knew it was a 70s model as I used to drive a 75 D200 at work. Before that a 66 D500. I didnt pay any attention to the thread title.
Looks like a lot of mods under the hood, too.

Get it running and driving and mechanically sound. drive it how it is. I just want a work truck to beat around town in.

Looks like the truck came with air-conditioning however does not currently have a pump on it. He said the engine was rebuilt about two years ago. It’s been sitting as well for two years. What other mods did you notice? I’m not super familiar with what to look for.

no one else will give up 2K for that heap.....if you really want it bad, offer him a grand (and that is pushing it)......its not worth much more than scrap IMO

I'm sorry, I should have said, "mods".
The wiring is a mess and I dont recall ever seeing an OEM flex fan. All the plumbing for the vapor recovery system has been removed. You can just see the canister at the right of one pic.
Edit
Theres a good pic of it on the left in another pic.

We need a photo of the front grill to spot the year.

trucks are coming up in value

not sure the value, but $2k is probably all in,
at the current state

4x4 Power Wagons would sell for that or dbl, tripple that easily here

76-77 isn't the most desirable years of that body style
but still a good find for a 72 to 80 body style

This is what the grill looked like. Signal light next to the headlight. And is was clear. I believe the placement was 66-67. 66 signals were amber. 67 clear.

I think you could do alot better with your money. Aftermarket body parts are hard to find. And new roof panels are not sold any more

I agree. To much missing in the engine compartment. I’ve seen many Mopars, cars and trucks, over the last year or so that I have not stopped to check on. I’m gonna start knocking on some doors. I started today by trying to get ahold of the owner of this truck.
