I thought that the #1906 carb was the same as a #1905, only with an electric choke. It's 600 cfm, and is not an AVS.
The #1905 doesn't have a choke, I just installed the #1906 electric choke conversion my #1905.
Just asking, which of us is wrong?
Here are pictures of my #1405's. One picture is the stock carb, the choke seems to be frozen open, non functional. The other picture shows the same #1405 with the #1478 electric choke kit, they are dual quads on my Hemi. The choke kit replaces the shaft, and levers. Red wire connects to 12 volts through the ign. Do not attach to the coil.
I stand corrected, I guess the #1906 is an AVS. Stand corrected yet again, I just caught that I have #1405 carburetors, not #1905. I have corrected that. Sorry!
