I was told it ran fine. The member I bought it from was selling it for a friend so I never saw it run.

where's the avs top?

Avs came with a different top with a large flat air valve over the secondaries. The carb in the photo has the standard afb style top and air valves. Try to find a photo of an edelbrock avs carb top.
