The red stripe looks great! I'm prepping the Polara trim for repaint and thought of doing the stripe in light blue to match the interior, but I would have to find a way to paint around the Polara letters on the rear of the trim. Decided it was too difficult to do, so staying with black.

Yes... that looks like a challenge! But....you and the Exacto knife, might not be as bad as you think! That car has the Look!!
