The fender tag and build sheet has been removed form my 72 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. I am trying to figure out what color this car is.
It has the original paint on parts of the car and inside the jambs. I searched the entire photo gallery to find someone else's car the same color but did not find one.
I may have narrowed it down
t6 Mojave Tan
Y3 Honey Gold
Y4 Honeydew
Y8 Gold leaf
L4 Saharah Beige
I know it is a shot in the dark but without mixing all the colors.
Anyone have a guess?

You could try the Hamtramic regestry and see what colors were offered that year

According to my 72 Plymouth Body Service Manual:

T6 Mojave Tan Poly: Chry #AY2HT6, Ditzler #2426 (Valiant, Barracuda, Satellite)
Y3 Honey Gold: Not found for this year Plymouth
Y4 Honeydew: Chry #AY1GY4, Ditzler #2310 (Satellite)
Y8 Gold leaf: Chry #AY2GY8, Ditzler #2307 (Satellite)
L4 Sahara Beige: Chry #AY1HL4, Ditzler #2427 (Fury, Chrysler, Imperial)

I also show:

Y9 Tawney Gold Poly: Chry #AY2GY9, Ditzler #2311 (Satellite)
F3 Amber Sherwood Poly: Chry #AY2GF3, Ditzler #2316 (Satellite)
T8 Chestnut Poly: Chry #AY2HT8, Ditzler #2425 (Satellite)

Hope this helps somewhat.

take it to a automotive paint store that mixes paint for body shops they will be able to take a reading for you,if you no of a local body shop you could also ask them for the same ,a good shop will be able to help you out.

NOT Y3

I have an original paint Y3 car and it's much more yellow than gold, even though the factory paint chip looks gold.

hope these help ya...

The paint on my Y3 car (and the way the mix comes out if you follow the code) looks much more like the Y2 chip, and nothing like the Y3 chip.

The fenders, hood, and quarters on the car in the post are original Y3 (and still shiny!).
The doors are from a 74, and I'm not sure what the code is. Close, but not a match.

The doors on your charger look like the color of mine :)
So it is not Y3

Thank you to all. I am going to have a color mixed in the Y4 code, as that seems to be the closest looking shade for the correct year, and model, . I will let you know.

I think it looks darker than my doors too.
