Has anyone had this happen to them? Torsion bar came out easy, but won’t go back in. The hex on the lower control arm isn’t lining up with the torsion bar. The rear of the bar is installed (see photo).
66 Belvedere. Any suggestions?

First question: are the torsion bars on the correct side? If the part number ends in an odd number it's driver's side and ending in even number is passenger side. Part number is on the end of the T bars.

Once the front suspension is jacked up, then you'll need to rotate the lower control arm unit the torsion bar hex is lined up with the hex cutout.

Are the control arm bumpers removed allowing full sag?
