Some Rice Burner Bashing!

Most interesting...Typical Chevy guy;the "429 Cobra Jet" motor was actually a Boss 429,but I won't bust his balls too bad. I will admit that ricer motors are extremely efficient in making power for their size, but come on now...there's nothing like the sound of virtually any American V-8 in even slightly modified form to raise the blood pressure.

Though,I have to state;the sound of an older Ferrari V-12 is truly a religious experience.

I've seen a lot of these threads and videos, but these tin foil wheel covers really take the cake.

I think the young man did a good job on this. I have made some videos myself and it's very time consuming at the least...

Have to disagree, the sound of a Rolls-Royce V-12 Merlin in a P-51 or an older Hydroplane boat is the bomb! You've been to the races at Belle Isle, haven't you Al? Now they are jet boats, but as late as the early 90's they were still using old Mustang engines.

Lmao i love bashing ricers. I love when they say ya muscle cars are cool but you get a honda real cheap and upgrade the engine to like a 1.8L? and turbo and and and like you got 300hp. In my mind i'm thinking yea so 1 your ether cheap? (Most of us young guys are) or your to dumb to realise a stock big block has more hp lol for alot less your mostly just paying for the car.

Agreed on the Merlins;I think they sound better than the Allisons. I'm sure the "state of tune" has an effect on the sound. Haven't been to the Gold Cup in many a year-like the 1970's! All piston engines then.

I've heard a few V-12 Ferraris at Waterford for the Historic races, and they do sound ******* at speed. I've also heard a flat-12(312PB) which is a whole 'nuther animal,sound-wise.

Gutterboy;thanks for that pic. Folks;look at that picture. That is what is referred to as "WRONG". On virtually every level. Does provide a topic of conversation, however.

...Like those cardboard side skirts. Wow;ground effects. Cool,man...:no::no:

You do have a point on the Ferrari's though, they spin alot faster, giving them a whole different sound.

LOL I posted this video on my facebook after i watched it and some nerdy kid from school posted this about the video.
While imports may have less power, they consequentially also have better mileage, which is all that is relevant unless you're going 90mph down a highway(which is illegal most everywhere except maaybe in the South).

I also note that this vide...o is ignoring, at least from what I see, all European cars, which are more geared towards performance than so-called Ricers, which means the study including 'proof' is relying entirely on what's called sampling bias.

As to the pictures of destroyed imports, they're ignoring that Honda cards have the highest consistent safety-ratings.

Yea really he never worked so i assume your right. I also remember his mom picking him up in a early 90's green Honda. It just kills me because the video had nothing to do about gas mileage LOL... I mean correct me if i'm wrong but isn't a ricer a car highly modded to look fast, wings, body kits, fart can and stuff? Not a beater car you drive back and forth to work...

I remember riding Harleys back in the '70's and calling Jap bikes "Rice Burners"! It's nothing new, just re-recorded like the music of today!

Here is my bike of today

I find the term "Farting Biscuit Tin" an appropriate description for Jappers.
And strangely enough.....the owners seem to have an IQ equivelent to that of a ferrets left testical.....I'm not sure of the actual figures, but I'm guessing it's pretty low.

My buddy was driving to work one day and saw this...
Don't worry, he's a Mopar guy!

Now if I can count right, that should multiply his horsepower by about 10x

Lmao... The thing that kills me is they think it's cool LOL to me it looks like a retard who doesn't know how things work.
