Why, oh why, doe's no one make them for a '67 Coronet? It's like all of the manufacturers think MOPAR starts in 1968! Do any of you have a workaround for this? Or know where to get them? Thanks. Biz.

Duh,, never mind, I just figured it out. 67 had the 500 R/T with the 500 moldings. The 440 had different ones too. Well hell, will any other year model fit the 67?

The 1966 will, but they ARE different in appearance. You'll need a set of four off the same car to look right.

Tell me about it , I've been looking for some for my 67 belvedere....Not much out there.

exactly.lol. I wonder how much trouble it is to make them,,,,,,,,......?

I have a full set (4) of wheel well mouldings from my '67 Belvedere Convertible that I will be selling once I get a chance to look at them, find out what kind of condition they are in, and "try" to figure out what a "fair" price for them would be . . .

I saw a single one for a '67 GTX on EBAY for $250 ? ? Can't believe my (4) would be worth $1000 ?

I will not be using them and from what I have seen, they are as rare as chicken teeth to find . . . I'll post with pictures and price once I get it figured out.

pulled them out of the shop to get a look at them . . .

Alright - I need your help with this . . . because I'm not sure that the back ends of these rear mouldings are correct, or have they been cut off ?

can you tell by looking at this picture ?

If they are cut, it's really a shame as the rest of them are in great shape . . .

I cant really tell but if they were cut it was a smooth job. They don't appear to be bent at all. Put them up against your wheelwells and see. Put a tape measure along the edge and tell me how many inches they are and ill measure my back openings to see.

in the thread before this one, about the 67 hemi coronet, it has trim around the wheel openings. so know they exist!

They look cut to me - no-one would make a moulding with the fixing holes right on the edge like that.

2 months ago I had 3 decent wheel opening moldings off of a 67 Belvedere listed here without a single reply. I sold all 3 on ebay to the lone bidder for $150. Just goes to show...timing is everything.

I did not own this car 2 months ago. Your right, timing is all.

Here are the part numbers for 67 and 66 and there applications.

Part numbers are the same for 66 and 67 for the applications I gave you.
The 440 trim and the 500 is different except the rear w/ lip on the 67 500 4-dr.
It is kind of strange on how they used front on the 67 charger and rear on the 67 coronet 500.

Here are the applications.

67 Coronet R/T

Front part # 2806-302 and 2806-303
Rear part # 2586-078 and 2586-079

67 Charger

Front part #2806-302 and 2806-303

66 Coronet 500 4 dr,2 dr ht and conv all

Front part # 2806-302 and 2806-303
Rear part # 2586-078 and 2586-079

Hope this will give you cars to look for w/lips.

Jeff

Jeff, list looks good, but there was no wheel lip molding for 67 500. Just wide body side trim.
