MOPARS in the Snow

...snow occasionally 20-30 times a season, 15 times a season is probably more like the average thou, winters have been getting much more snow & is much colder at lower elevations, so much for Global Warming....

Yes, now THAT'S an inconvenient truth!

I wish I had pictures from way back when my car was my daily driver in the late '70's. Snow tires on the back of a 1970 road runner didn't look too cool. But with a couple concrete blocks in the back seat for more weight, it went just about everywhere I needed it to go. I did a lot of drifting in empty parking lots, learned a bunch about how to control a car going sideways with no traction, something that is still useful to this day!

I'm with paladin06. No snow and no rain on my Bee. Tucked in nice and dry.

Here's a couple.......

I seldom get my cars out in the summer when the weather is nice, too busy taking a nap in the hammock. So, I mostly get them out in the dead of winter when the snow is the deepest and go for a drive. Usually try to wait until the salt truck goes by first so I can get better traction on the road. I've seriously been considering a move farther north, then I'll have a longer winter season to drive my cars before the nice summer weather starts.

All I did above with my RR is back it out into the snow when the sun was out for a picture. Little snow on the tires ain't going to kill it. Otherwise, yes, both sit it in a climate controlled garage with HVAC

Going from the garage to the paint booth across the road.
