no egg mcmuffin for Walter Becker!

Damn, 67! What a talented guy!

R.I.P.

RIP.
Steely Dan was one of the best bands from the 70s.

RIP Walter, 67 is too young to be gone...

man I liked Steely Dan back in the day

they go in 3's, who'll be the next ?

A disagree that Walter Becker's a Talent?? must think rappcrapp is music.

I am listening to Steely Dan on Spotify as I work today. Outstanding music, especially on really good gear because it's easier to pick out lots of subtle nuances in the mix.
RIP Walter Becker, and thank you!

Hard to pick a favorite song.
They all have unique qualities.

Classic Vinyl always plays a diverse amount of Steely Dan.

This commercial always made me laugh.

I have been fortunate to have seen Steely Dan dozens of times, most recently last Summer in Saratoga with Steve Winwood. RIP - your song writing talents will be missed...

Steely Dan was never really a band. Fagen & Becker were the driving force & the albums were recorded with several different studio musicians.....the personnel rotated on live tours as well.

It was a duo

They were different for the time and I liked them!
Listen to Dick Clark's description in the first video.

RIP Walter

Yeah, what i was getting at, Donald Fagen & Walter Becker were the Writing Duo that were the Constant in the nucleus of Steely Dan, but accompanying musicians were always changing. Don't get me wrong, i wasn't trying to bathe them in a negative light, i Love their music. "......i can hold out all night......they won't take me alive......"

Dick Clark mentioned different members in his intro on the first video I posted.
