Right eye has been freaking-out. Had an eye-surgeon examine it on Friday, and today I see the retina surgeons. I have a small tear. I was seeing hundreds of tiny bubbles, and the DR said I was seeing red blood-cells. Very weird. I'm also seeing black threads, floaters, and shaded bars...which are all moving.

Hope everything works out with the Docs. Gonna need those eyes for the WPC meet coming up.

Thanks. Sugar is perfect. I'm big, but have always had a normal BS level. I don't think it's ever been over 107.

I have been seeing floaters for years..

Prayers coming your way!!

MPH, Pray for success..

Thanks....Me too, and a sign of the break-down of the vitreous. This has obviously advanced to the current "acid-trip" in my right eye. That's an interesting/informative link, I posted.

at least they have some answers for you ,severals years ago I woke up and my left eye vision was gone I went to the Cleveland Clinic 3 times a week saw just about every specialist for over a year Ive had some many dyes injected in my eye and hand they came up with nothing I quite going lost all faith, put your left fist in front of your left eye very close and look ahead nothing in front but a black area and you can barley see anything around your fist at all ,they have been trying to keep coming back since it became a waist of money $50.00 a hit every time for way to many doctors ,good luck hope the best for you .

Hoping for the best for you. Practically all of us are of the age where life's now a "medical adventure" isn't it?

LOL...yup. I've had 15 surgeries, in the last 22 years.

Binocular vision is overrated, lol!

That sucks. I'd be looking [no pun] elsewhere. My vision is priceless.

Had some issues with floaters but here lately they seem to be gone....and it's pretty crazy how complex the body is!

Not according to the eye surgeon. Small tear and a leak. He believes that the retina surgeons will use a laser to "spotweld" the leak/tear.

Sorry to hear that mike wish you all my best brother and a speedy recovery!

Ive had nine procedures on my eyes. A tear can be fixed in a few minutes, recovery a few days. A tear can become a detachment, recovery time months, with a chance of permanent damage! Ask me how i know. GET IT FIXED TODAY!!!

Boy, the symptoms sound like macular degeneration of the wet variety.

I think slap sticks post was for snake eyes, ane i think he's right, though im no doctor.
Mmissile, your symptoms are classic retinal tear, easily fixed with a lazer if done now. With my experience i would have DEMANDED a fix the first day.
