Hello everyone, my name is Jeremiah. I live in central Washington (state) and am the proud owner of a 1964 Plymouth Fury 9 passenger station wagon.

So, a little history on my car. My Grandfather purchased the car in 1965 from Webb Chrysler-Plymouth in Kennewick Washington and it has been in the family ever since. My Dad was 10 years old when Grandpa bought the Fury and he spent the rest of his childhood riding in it and later driving it as a young adult. In 1987, I was 6 years old, and our family had just moved back to Washington and needed a car. My Dad bought the Fury from Grandpa and I spent the rest of my childhood riding in it and later driving it as a young adult. I loved that car. It was my high school car. I even had my senior portrait taken with it. When I graduated from high school my parents told me that they were going to sell the Fury because they had since purchased another vehicle and I had bought a little Ford Ranger as transport off to college.
They were playing a trick on me though and at my graduation celebration they surprised me by giving me a box that held the title to the Fury.
That was 20 years ago. I still own the Fury, and now I have two boys of my own. Currently the youngest is 7 and 1/2 and the oldest is almost 12. They have spent their entire childhood riding in the Fury and one day soon, will be driving it as young adults.

Welcome from Alabama, great story on a one family car. Hope your children have the same pride you have in that car. I also have my grandfather's last new car, a 56 Desoto Wagon. How about some pictures?

And lets not forget about the Ford truck, Jeremiah...... :D:D
I always love reading about your and your adventures for quite a while now...

Thanks Jerry.
Yes, My boys certainly do share the same pride in the car that I do. They hang around me all of the time, so my love of old things, especially automotive things, has rubbed off on them. My oldest son loves the Fury and a couple of years ago laid claim to it. The youngest loves the Fury, but he also loves trucks, so that works out too since I also own Grandpa's 1969 Ford F-100.

As far as photos go, I have a bunch.
I took this one a couple of years ago, still one of my favorites:

Here's a photo of the Fury on my Grandparent's farm in Kennewick. That's my Grandpa by the garage and an aunt and uncle hamming it up for the camera

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest. Tri cities to be more specific. Nice car.

Here's a few more from 1966

Here are my Grandma, Great-Grandmother and Grandpa with assorted aunts and uncles etc.

I also love this photo. It's from 1987 or 88. It's of my siblings and cousins and was taken at my Aunt and Uncles house in Ellensburg. I'm in the red hat, driving the firetruck.

nice vintage photos

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to exploring the forums. I have spent most of my automotive life feeling like a bit of a square peg in a round hole. When I needed parts or had a question about something the information and resources were either limited or non existent. I'm really glad I was introduced to this place. So many folks with similar cars!

It was REALLY nice this past weekend and since pretty much everything was closed we decided it would be a great time to get all of the vehicles out and give them a good post-winter scrubbing.

Awesome. My Dad is from Kennewick, my Mom is from Pasco. I have quite a few relatives that live in the Tri-Cities.
