Has anybody bought parts from the Ram Man I looking to buy his disk brakes spindles and caliper brackets from him, but I email him twice 2 weeks ago and no answer thanks

He rebuilt and plated my brake booster, and did a real nice job. He can be a bit slow at times, was having some health issues back then, have you tried calling?

I bought my kit from him and have mixed reviews for Wayne Brown. The good: he is knowledgeable about the product and product seems to be of acceptable quality. The bad: Price is a little on the high side; installation instructions not great; poor product support - his master cylinder was bad. I understand these things happen, but I got the run around on getting a replacement so I wound up buying one from NAPA. If I had to do it over, I would start with Cass Eslick at Dr. Diff who I talked with a couple of times but wound up going with Ramman because I live close enough to to Ft Worth to pick up parts myself. Summit and Jegs also sell these kits, but don't know anything about their kits.

He rebuilt a booster and master cylinder for me to install on my friend's Coronet. No issues whatsoever and the price was reasonable.

He rebuilt my booster, brake valve, Calipers and Master Cyl. Had to send back master cyl. Piston stuck when stepped on Pedal Put Master Cyl back on same issue. Tried calling him and emailed several times no answer. Other than the Master Cyl no issues with the other items. Keep your Master Cyl wire lid hold down. I got my Master Cyl from Mancini Racing. The wire that came with the Master Cyl didn't hold the lid tight enough and ate the paint off the fenderwell that I just Painted. The old wire holds the lid tight now no lid leaks anymore

Pirate Jack sells his stuff and is a lot easier to get ahold of. Although if Cass has a decent product, I might just try him. I bought a bunch of rear end parts from him last year and couldn't have been happier with the service and his pricing.

Cass will go out of his way to help too.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with "the Ram Man Inc" - don't do it! Like some of the other reviews, I found out their customer service, well there isn't any. And he doesn't manufacture these parts, he sources them just like any other small vendor, then jacks up the prices, which is fine and is capitalism at it's best, but man, I waited weeks after placing an order to even hear a peep from them and that was only after I called and left multiple messages and emailed them multiple times. In between I got a one sentence promise of a ship date which came and went. Then after requesting a refund and cancellation of my order so I could find the part elsewhere all I got was vulgarity and told off and told they were busy. He may know is stuff but his business sense is terrible. Go elsewhere or you will regret getting involved with this guy.

Here's my story. I was contemplating between Cass and Wayne, went with Cass and never went back. I bought a kit for my RR from Cass a while ago. One of my calipers started leaking at the banjo bolt. I contacted Cass just a couple of days ago. I've tried this and that and even slowed the leak but hasn't fully stopped. Cass is sending me thicker brass o-rings no questions asked. That's service to me.:thankyou::thankyou:

I sent Ramman my MC and booster for rebuild before I read this thread. I called to confirm they received the parts and been 2 weeks so far. I’m in no rush let’s see how it goes.

He did all right by me but I will agree his response time and customer relations leave a lot to be desired.

A few years ago, he had his web site hacked and had issues. No issues with Cass

Suffice it to say that Wayne / The ram man has tried to pick my brain for years --- and all he does is talk --- he doesn't listen, so how does he expect to learn anything ?????

And his talking endlessly -- I can't take it -- he needs to learn how to speak ENGLISH....Can anyone understand anything he says ????

He has no knowledge. He is a Johnny come lately who hasn't been around automotive, so really doesn't
understand even the basics, truth be told....

And, he can't look at you , can't make eye contact....
And, we all know what that means -- He can't be
HONEST -- and that's not good for someone who IS
Valuable....even worse here....

Just calling a spade a spade -- since you asked.....

I’d pass. The dude lives very close to me. I’ve tried numerous times to get him, or anyone, from his business in email or on the horn.....no support means he’s just another problem waiting to happen....

I just want to add that no one on this forum wants to damage or impair a business dedicated to this hobby, just the opposite....but what many of us see day to day.....is that there are folks out there who make a presence in the referb space for these parts....and they are not honest. I never comment, unless I have direct knowledge. Case in point, Ram Man has never returned a single call of mine or e-mail. I've made at least 5 queries over the last 4 months. I see many folks on here have had both good and bad experiences with him. He has posted videos in the past slashing people for criticizing him, and his products. I had my steering gear rebuild by a local company here in Ft Worth...cost me a mint....and the wait was long.....got it back and installed it.....leaked worse than before....all they did was repaint it....and tighten the castle nut on the top...total fraud. Called them, and they told me to bring it back.....I did, and they made up a story......ect......I got the feeling that since I looked like a mark, they were sure I'd just go away.....I waited 5 min, then asked for a refund and the part. Guy stood there looking tough, and I stood there.....looking ready to kick his ***. He decided to fix the gear while I waited. Took a few hours.....I learned a thing or two.....and he did too....Sorry for the story....but, the Ram Man is one of these people......he'll get away with as much as he can, and will.

I'll give my endorsement for Dr Diff. Best for the money products and above and beyond support after the sale.
