I Used to do some really great black and white stuff back in the day. I developed it myself and you can really do some great things with the images that way. It does still have its place

I always thought B&W photos were artistic. I shot, developed and printed thousands of them in my teen years. Even museums didn’t want color photos because of their propensity to fade, even in a closed sun free vault.

I think B+W photos taken today of us working on our cars is a neat idea. Just dont leave a modern giveaway (like a cell phone on the fender) in the shot. And always wear jeans and a white tee shirt when working on the car!

I quite like some of the B&W photography from WWII. I think the lack of color represents war really well.

Cool tip ! One wall in my office/waiting area at my shop, is dedicated to black & white drag pics.

I think that I still have the film developer tanks and trays stored somewhere? I use an old yellow developer tray to put carb parts in when rebuilding a carb.

I used to shoot Tri-X for aerial photos and I push processed it because of shutter speed. My tanks and trays are long gone, but I still have my Vivitar enlarger.

I occasionally shoot Tmax film in my 35mm SLR and I still shoot color.

I now have a digital SLR. I need to get out more.

I used to tell the kids that the film was all the same and the world was actually black and white. They caught it while filming the wizard of oz. Started B/W and the world turned to color!
