Post up your pictures here of the Christmas Day fare at your house. My wife had today off work (Christmas Eve) and has been busy with last minute shopping and prepping the food for tomorrow.
Pictures will be up tomorrow of lunch....but here's a sneak peek at one of the dessert line items. Wife helped me knock up our annual Pavlova....a Kiwi favourite and a delicacy downunder.

It's still in the oven right now....last year's effort got into the Christmas Catalog for the department store chain my wife works for....she snagged me one of the publicity posters for a keepsake...

WE will have roast beef and home made noodles with all the fixings and sweets. fallowed by a few cold beverages and a accidental nap on the couch.

Traditionally we do an English dinner on Christmas Eve consisting of Standing Rib Roast, Fresh Asparagus, and Yorkshire Pudding. This year I am changing it up a bit and doing a Ham with the same sides as we were gifted an 8.5lb Ham and what with the cost of a Prime Rib Roast, figured why not. Merry Christmas y'all!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:...cr8crshr/Bill

Hey Roger Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family my friend. Yes we will indulge in a German, English, Kiwi, Candian and American feast this year with our other Ex-pat friends. Not quite the same as family, but the next best thing. Take care and remember "Mopar or no car". Have a great 2021.

Leftover pizza hut, kettle cooked jalapeño chips and Miller high life for me...

Christmas Eve we celebrate wigilia (Polish Tradition). We'll start with soup, smoked whitefish and salmon, pierogies, and salad. Breaking bread with loved ones and starting the new year with a clean slate. The drinks will flow! 440'

Oh, the things you can make with Vegamite.

Ham, sweet potato casserole, collards, and red mashed potatoes. Key lime pie and peach lattice pie with vanilla ice cream. I can hardly wait!

VERY traditional Brit Christmas dinner. About 1.00pm,Turkey (goose is also a traditional UK Xmas roast but largely out of fashion....Ill have one if I or my dad shot one....not a shop bought thing...tasteless and fatty), roast potatoes in goose fat....various veg, pigs in blankets, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce. Followed by Christmas pudding and brandy sauce ....I prefer custard though. All washed down with something alcoholic. Usually get finished just in time for the Queen speech at 3! Try to recover in time for Turkey sandwiches in the evening. Drinking from pretty much when we get up until we go to bed!!!.....but at a sensible pace....otherwise I will fall asleep.....i dont drink much usually....so I take it easy. Bucks fizz at breakfast (Buck is my Surname....so what else!), wine at lunch....beer for the rest of the day. The only downside....Im the better cook...so I do 90% of the cooking....as the rest of the year!!! I really don't mind though!...she has "other talents"!
