Pics from Back in the Day

Our family still does. We take them more now since digital came out. I guess back then it was a hassle and costly to take pictures. We weren't well off. Mom use to growl when I washed my car. It cost money to run the water pump! Boy have things changed.

This was the day before I started as a RADAR Technician at Cincinnati Microwave. Date was 1983. A Home Depot and a half dozen restaurants occupy this site today.
My Coronet had about 150K miles on it in this picture.

Please remember I was a young boy but that’s what I have heard. I have no idea if it is true. It might just be an urban legend. But, yes.

I think every community has that same urban legend.

What changed, attitudes about cars or the cars themselves? People just don't take photos with their cars anymore.
Take a look outside. You want your picture taken with the **** on the roads now??

Lol. Meaning do you want your picture taken proudly beside a 2013 hyundai accent.

How about a 2015 Hemi, 6spd Challenger on the PONY BRIDGE or in front of Lucille's in Oklahoma (RT 66 bucket list items) without me with car, does THAT fit da billing??

My Challenger roughly 20 years ago. 2 owners ago, been COMPLETELY rebuilt since except the old 80's paintjob that I buffed and polished to perfection.
