Another green 66 Hemi Charger on BaT

Seems to be a nice car at first glance. I like green and got a green 69 r/t 440 myself. :)
I understand the first gen is priced significantly cheaper but still pretty expensive unfortunately.

I for my part follow dave ramsey's advice, wait until the great depression and then buy my first hemi mopar for a quarter of the current price cash. :D
Not at least because it's the only way i would be able to afford one with today's prices.

Too short, not tucked up to the body enough, but otherwise I totally agree.
True gentleman's performance machine.

After reworking the Hemi exhaust system on my 66 recently, I bet they sucked the mufflers up so tight to the floor pan, that the only way the tailpipes would clear the shock mount member over the axle was to tilt them down towards the rear. That’s probably why the tailpipe hangers are also so cockeyed and over stretched.

That would sort of fly in the face of past market turndowns over the last 3 or 4 decades when enthusiasts shifted funds to investments in classic cars and pushed values up. But with the way the world (and country) are so upside down today, who knows.

Well i think there WILL BE deals to be had if it comes to a REAL recession.
Simply because there will be people that have no choice but to sell.
I mean if you're deep in debt and stuggling to pay your bills watcha gonna do?

Nice car, it will be interesting to see how it compares to other Hemi cars.

mint green?
I meant to say mint silver.....wrote that on a tablet....I hate tablets and phones for posting.

I like it. Never had a 66-67 Charger. GG1 is a great color when done correctly.

This car has been for sale on and off a few times over the last 2 years. Don’t know if it’s actually changed hands or not. Interesting that it has power windows and a radio delete

It says the current owner acquired it last April so possibly a flipper.

There was a guy on FB that restored what looks like this particular car. Oscar leech.
It was one of the fastback groups, the whole restoration was detailed.
He said he was building it to sell. I'm guessing the current guy bought it from him
