To rephrase it, what muscle car has a value that is going up on the steepest curve? We all know our B Bodies are doing well, especially in the last few years but are there other cars doing better? I'm purposely excluding European and JDM cars. Some of the Blue Chip stuff, like Daytonas, have gone down but there have been outliers that make the news.

If you go by auctions on BAT. Everything has tripled since January ‘21.

A good thread for the Flipperologists.

Put all your $$$$ into Pinto based Mustang II. They can't go anywhere but UP! LOL

I was amused by an email I got from Hagerty last week.
When I bought my Magnum GT a year ago, they only wanted to agree to insure it for $15,000. I wanted to insure it for more, and my agent had to go to bat for me to get Hagerty to insure it for $20,000.
The email I just got said their team of valuation experts recommend increasing its value to $24,000.
Therefore based on Hagertys view, Magnums have gone up 60% in one year.

Mid 80's mustang gt's and 5.0 lx's. Find one in good original condition that has not been cut up or modded.

I'm gonna hang onto my gen II Caddy CTS-V Coupe for a while and see what it does. It's no longer a regular driver, spends most of it's time in the garage under a cover.

Only based on TV auctions like Mecum and Barrett Jackson, the last 6 months alone have seen final sale prices higher than I've ever seen for everything. C2 Corvettes seem to be one of those in the leader group. Fastback Mustangs also seem to do well all the time and anything off-road seems to be HOT HOT HOT right now (Broncos, Blazers, etc), possibly due to Ford's re-launch of the Bronco which has re-kindled interest in the originals.

I really liked their big horsepower wagon. They are not very often seen. I had a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T wagon with 5.7 Hemi. I could not afford the Cadillac.

Don't know just which time table you want to go by but '68 to '70 Chargers have broken records in the last couple of years. Nothing else matters IMO

Second gen Camaros, I seen them starting up about 3 years ago and they have doubled and a bit in that time.

First Gen chargers have jumped last few years, around 25 percent according to haggraty. They are getting harder to find affordably.

Anything nobody wanted, now they’re affordable, and everyone is running to them. Even at my age I never thought I’d see a pickup out sell a Hemi car.

The turbo Buicks are definitly doing quite well.

I even tried to buy one last year.
But he had a deposit on it.

I have 5 coupes, 1 hatch. I'm set. And I agree with you. I have a 1 of 1 calypso green coupe, 93, last year of that body style. I get tired of people trying to buy it from me. Probably sell a couple to buy some more mopars. Don't know yet.

1993 Mustang Cobra
1978-79 Lil Red Express
90’s 454SS Trucks
1999-2002 WS6 TA and 2002 Camaro SS
late 80’s IROC/GTA
A real OG GLH/GLHS
Shelby Dakota

Pretty much anything from 79 on has nearly doubled in the last three years. The first one, 93 Cobra is just stupid money for low mile original cars.

One to watch - 2014-15 Z/28. Last NA LS7 427 6sp track car. 1801 made. No one seems to know what these are.

Yes, the T/As changed to an LS1 in 1998 and lasted until 2002. A black one with the WS6 hood or an SLP FireHawk is a hot ticket.

The really rare one was the 1992 SLP FireHawk.

The resulting SLP Firehawk ran the quarter mile in 13 seconds at 106 mph, reaching sixty in 4.6 seconds. That was down to having 350 horsepower and 390 ft.-lb., thanks to the upgraded pistons, intake, exhaust, the six-speed from the C4, and a lightweight aluminum drive shaft. And while the tuning and the limited-slip differential has already turned the Firebird into a tail-happy monster, if that wasn't enough, an additional $9000 bought you an aluminum hood, a roll cage, and the Brembo brakes straight from the Ferrari F40's parts catalog.

The SLP Firehawk was the Firebird Formula, going out with a factory-supported bang.
