What's the deal with that arm rest?

Its a rear seat center arm rest from a 67 Charger.

So do any of you guys know what determining factor led to a car having the bright molding on the lower valance vs. not? Was it part of a package or did it have its own option code? I cannot seem to figure out a pattern on the cars that have the bright molding vs ones that don’t…

Maybe trim level ...say DeLuxe, 440 n Bee didn't get it, while the 500 n R/T did ?...I wondered if the piece in between the Bee goggle rim front bumpers was that way also ???

I have seen the trim on deluxe and 440 and the super bee.
