The gears for those 8 1/4" axles can be found all the way until around 1996 models. The Dakotas and Durangos used that axle.
I was tempted to use a 3.92 that a FABO friend has but without an overdrive, that is a steep gear!
Keeping it original till its done and then it will be I need a Big Block. I like doing things twice.Come on Dave, break down and get an 8 3/4 axle for it.
We will have to strap it on top of my Kia.every shop needs a foreman........ and you need an 8 3/4........ I have one for you; all you gotta do is pick it up.
Oh yeah, the 9 1/4" axle has been around awhile too. I have them in a trailer and my daily...the 2007 Dodge.my bad........ this thing is 8 1/4?
I think you're right
edit......they're calling it a 9 1/4
